EMS unit numbers in Fort Collins

It seems that Fort Collins, PVH has changed there destignations for ems units.

Before Med 5 for example would be disbatched and med5 is the unit number of the ambulance where now I am hearing med 251 for example.

Does anyone have any details on what changed and why.

Yes they have changed greatly along with a few new units soon, a change in uniforms coming up as well, believe they are now based on specific shifts and even the individual employees have there own numbers as well I think.

Will get a formal list and post here.

new PVH numbering

They changed to match the county numbering system:

Day shifts:
Med 201 - East Side 0500-1700 Daily
Med 202 - South Side 0630-1830 Daily
Med 203 - South Side 0700-1730 Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs
Med 204 - South Side 0800-1800 Fri, Sat, Sun
Med 205 - East Side 0900-2100 Daily

Night Shifts
Med 251 - East Side 1700-0500 Daily
Med 252 - South Side 1830-0630 Daily
Med 253 - South Side 1730-0400 Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat

24 hr Shifts
Med 221 - West Side 0600-0600 Daily
