Default Lake County, Ohio - Officials radio in for safety system aid

PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Safety officials and community leaders within Lake County are jointly requesting $11.2 million in federal funding to pay for the Phase 2 upgrade of the Lake County public safety 800-megahertz radio system.

Default Lake County Radio system are dying and Junk

So we who live in Lake county get to help pay for a new radio system.. Plus our tax dollars goto pay for MARCS.. I think something is rotten...

I think the Feds will give us the money...and I personally like the plans that are in place for our area in general.

Lake County upgrades to a true P25 system, Cuyahoga County gets their own P25 system (minus Cleveland...cuz only God knows what they have planned), and both systems are tied in with MARCS, which will also eventually be a P25 system.

It clearly follows the federal government's guidelines for true interoperability...So hopefully D.C. pays up.
