Yeah, you got us, we fess up...this has everything to do with our SCANNERS, nothing else, you're right, we're all wrong, we're just bitter, pathetic souls who are sore that we can't listen to anyone using OpenSky. Your point of view will absolutely prevail and all trunked systems will eventually be replaced with OpenSky, which is clearly the best technology ever invented for radios. In fact I hear NYS read your posts and realized they made a huge blunder terminating their contract for the OpenSky SWN and are trying desperately to nullify their bad move.



Either you have some personal/financial/business stake in OpenSky itself, the manufacturer (whoever that is now, I've lost track) or the dealer that sold MPD this system, but it's clear you are entirely too invested in this whole saga to just be a "casual observer". Either way, there is really no point replying to you any further, cordially or otherwise. I should've realized that a few months ago in the other thread we discussed this system in, as you are just posting more of the same nonsense in this thread. The rest of us are trying to have a discussion based on facts and logic, while all you can come up with is "I will be right in the end".

Look your not getting it, we are not mad cause we wont be able to hear it as scanner users, but lets say penn state police new york , and amy other counties and states are DISAPPOINTED in the system, its not stable, its not reliable, its DANGEROUS!

Something dangerous that puts lives on the line needs to be taken care or or got rid of!

WE dotn care if we cant hear it!

WE do care of officers cant be heard by there dispatchers!!!!!!!!!

Another motorola system bites the dust. You know what they say if its not broken DON'T FIX IT!!!! if there is encryption involved, its time to learn a valuable lesson that encrypted radio system is gonna comeback and haunt you sooner or later! All because of scanners huh?

Let me try one more time.

As I read your post, it is not clear what the facts are that you are trying to present.
It can be read literally, or with a slightly sarcastic slant.
In doing so it could infer two (or maybe more) sets of facts.
You did not include a simile or wording that helps reduce the opportunity to misinterpret it, so rather than interpret it one way or the other I have asked (repeatedly) for a little clarification.
However, you seem bent on not answering, so all this does is further build confidence in my assumption that you don't know crap about what you are posting.

idontknow82-Please clarify. This thread appears to be about MKE's OpenSky system, which has absolutely nothing to do with Motorola. Out of curiosity, why are you bringing Motorola, encryption, etc into this discussion?

Partly because my posts clearly identify who I am and yours fail to do so. Partly because your posting history tends to support the belief that you have an interest in the system that you aren't disclosing.

If you're so unbiased, then perhaps you should tell us who you are and what your vocational affiliations are.

For the record, I'm a retired Assistant Attorney General for the State of Wisconsin. Pretty clearly no financial interest in OpenSky. I live in the north suburbs of Milwaukee, so I'm not even a City of Milwaukee taxpayer.
