Shawnee County, KS - Shawnee County sirens radio frequency change

Shawnee County, Kansas -- Shawnee County Emergency Management is making changes to its outdoor warning sirens.

Starting Monday, the sirens are being reprogrammed because of what’s called the FCC narrow-banding mandate ahead on the January 1st deadline.
