Nice to see a couple city council folk sticking up for everyday people and putting an end to this encryption and new radio madness! I wish the residents and council of Durham region would wake up and realize that Fire and Police are leading them down the garden path with encryption.. they do need a new system but they do not need encryption!

totally agree,encrypted or not,its still a huge waste of taxpayers money.
