Checked out delayed launch 8:15pm course I'm 120 miles North but showed real well
in mostly clear night sky looking due South.
Really cool! I was at work and talked fellow employees to check it out but everyone got a real kick out of it.
Some bright burst of flames and smoke contrail visible as it climbed up..
Old news I know for you Florida folks but real new and cool for us Mid-Atlantic sky watchers.

Next big Wallops launch Sunday Dec 15th 10:57pm local of Orbital Science first supply mission to ISS.
Larger rocket so hopefully with clear cold December night skies will be even more spectacular.
