Anyone in range of Saint Clair who can monitor the system testing ?
It would be interesting to see what is actually taking place. I have gone
through all the county radio licenses and I failed to located even one
that authorizes digital operation..
Looks like all current licenses have been renewed as needed and are
authorized for FMN operation (Analog)
Perhaps the articles are some what off center..

Moving this into the PA forum might help. Is this somehow part of the Schuylkill Co new system?

No one seems to know. There ave been several news releases and
posts over the past four months with all different information. When that
happens, I dig into the FCC radio licenses to see if that will yield answers
to some of the questions. It didn't provide any clear cut answers.
The term "New system" appears to be incorrect. Perhaps it relates to
equipment replacement and completing the narrow band conversion.
I agree that moving the post to the Pennsylvania form could assist in getting
some answers. I have no clue how to accomplish that feat. Perhaps the powers
to be can assist....
