RadioReference.com Beta 3.0 Release - Please Report Bugs and Issues
Ok Folks,
The Beta Release is out for your comments, suggestions, and issues. Please post to this thread problems that you see.
Remember the following:
1. The data in the database is running on a copy from a few weeks ago. Don't report stale data or problems with the data.
2. If you are a premium subscriber, and you subscribed or updated your subscription within the past few weeks, it won't reflect on the beta site yet.
Beta site URL is:
http://beta.radioreference.com
Please review and find problems. Check out some of the less commonly used components. Test, retest, rinse, repeat.. I want this to be a solid release so your feedback is important. Enhancement Requests will most likely be deferred to the next release, however anythingh critical to the usability of the site will be considered for the 3.0 release.
Please remember: This beta site is running an old copy of the database, so don't use for production data or information.

I see a frame on the right for wiki updates- I'm curious how that's going to work. Are you going to parse the change logs or is it going to be something of a manual process?

The blue background makes it difficult for me to read. Is there a way for me to change this?

Colors need some work - it's dark and my eyes were bugging out after just a few minutes - please let background light with dark text.

Not sure this is a bug, or just something not yet implemented - when you try to look at a subcategory, you get that in a new box, but a message also comes up...
'No location and range data available for this sub-category'

this is just a suggestion, but it would be nice if you could make the text color for WIKI FORUMS and DATABASE a different color, so it stands out, since thats the most used on the site.. again.. just a suggestion.. thanks

Brazoria County in Texas incorrectly shows and links to Bowie County on the state map. The table link is correct, but the county is not highlighted on the state map on the county page.

Why have 2 seperate pages to describe the premium subscription policy? There's one on the wiki, and one on the beta site that looks a little cut off at the bottom. Better to have just 1 page to view - and maintain.
Like the new color scheme - much easier to read 73s Mike

Mike, I am transitioning the one from the Wiki over to the Main page... it's not done yet... but there are some more dynamic requirements that are driving me to do that.

I used to be able to click on Ontario Canada and have the second map come up to pick your Counties/Towns. That is not working, it just goes to the main Province of Ontario Radio Reference.
Seems like all the USA maps are working but the Canadian feature is not.
Thanks

OK when the transition is complete, let one of us know and we'll change the link on the Wiki main page to point to the new one. No sweat.
73s and thanx...Mike
