Computer
CybertronPC Patriot GM1293D Desktop Red

Monitor
Acer S241HL Bmid 24-Inch Screen Led-Lit Monitor

Running Windows 10 Home

Both are only several weeks old,

 From time to time the computer monitor will blank out for 3 or 4 seconds and then come back on, I have gone into Device Manager to see if it was a problem with the Driver but I have the best driver already, What would cause my monitor to black out for 3 or 4 seconds every once in awhile.

Problem with monitor

Are you overclocking your video card? All fans working properly?

As far as I can see everything is working ok, but that can't be because of the monitor blanking out. I think I will use my free support for my computer and have them access my computer and fix the problem.

Screen saver

Blank screen saver set?

Power Management, turning off monitor?

Nope, it blanks out when I'm using it and only for 2 to 3 seconds.
Steve

But now that you bring it to my attention, I going to shut the screen saver off and see if this fix's the problem

This may be oversimplifying things, but is the cable from the computer to the PC connected tightly, both at the monitor and the computer? If so, can you make the monitor go blank and come back on by wiggling the cable, either at each end or in the middle?

Do you have another computer you can test the monitor and cable with?

Do you have another monitor you can connect to the computer and try?

Just trying to rule something in or out ... good luck!

Thanks for the subjections, I'll try all of them, also turned off my computer screen saver to see if this is what's causing the problem. If all fails I will send a ticket to Cybertron to take over my computer and see if they can trouble shoot the problem, thanks everyone for the help. I'll Waite till Monday to see if I have fixed it.
