Default Manchester FD

I herd a rumor that manchester FD changed to 452.775. An IB freq but I can't find any licence for them on it. Any one up in the hartford area know about it?

Thanks for the info. They must be using marcus FCC lic for 452.775 as he is the only one in that area on it and he is a big kenwood dealer

Haven't Made It Into Town Yet, But I Put The New Freq In My 796d In My Comp Shack Here & Caught The Tail End Of A Town Of Manchester Call L&C. East Of Manchester I Am, Could BARELY Hear 453.2125, But The Signal Sounds Much Better, Clearer & Stronger For Sure

UP & RUNNING! Town Manchester FD On New Freq. Simple Automatic Alarm Call Mind You, Same Tone Outs & Protocol, Audio & Signal Much Stronger. I Can Now Hear The town FD No problem Here East Of The River. Was Never Able To Hear Them My Way Before On My 996/796/396 & Since I work In Manchester , The More I Hear The Better In Order To avoid PD/FD Activity

Seeing as you boys don't want to put your location on your profile, how about giving a hint as to
what state your talking about?

Jim

Seeing that it is the Connecticut forum - The answer is Manchester, Connecticut. And as far as I know it is only the town that changed over not the 8th. And i think they did go over to Marcus' system or at least there had been talk of it for some time now.

929, Now It Makes Sense Why I Can Pick The Signal Up Much Better. Most Likely Marcus Has Some Space Up On Box Mountain & Guess Who Can See The Box Mountain Antennas When I Look Out My Rear Window Of My House?

They're not actually on the Marcus system, maybe just on the tower Marcus uses??
Otherwise you wouldn’t be hearing every transmission on that single frequency and you certainly wouldn’t be able to program the 107.2 PL if it was LTR Passport.
Hopefully that will never happen....

They are not on Marcus' system and so far I haven't even seen anything on the FCC database with any information as to tower loc. or lic./call sign
