If you live in the city I would suspect local interference at your end. While they have the capability to change antennas/sites, SPD has been fairly consistant with staying on one for a while now. You seem to have several stations that you keep questioning reception of. If you don't hear the officers complaining about reception or hear lots of testing, it may likely be at your end.

its just weird how they come in loud and clear then the next day they are completely gone i tried moving antennas around ,and i thought i detected a very faint signak with the preamp running, this kind of stuff drines me crazy,i was having the same problem with meriden pd for a while but now they seem rather consistent, well what can you do i guess just live with it right?
