Default 453.812 p25

I've been picking up this frequency here in eastern CT the last couple days. It's P25 digital and a police department. Anybody know where it's from?

The database shows 453.8125 as:

Chesire PD Ch. 2 [NAC 173]
and
Vernon PD Ch. 1 [NAC 046]

Hope this helps,

If your in eastern CT I would bet its probably Vernon but anything is possible. Where in eastern CT are you? Can you get a NAC decode? Do you have any yagi antennas?

Unhappy

I wish someone with a digital scanner could broadcast Vernon PD on the RR live audio feeds. Haven't heard them since they went digital

I live near foxwoods. I'm pretty sure it's Vernon. All I got is the ducky antenna on my psr500. I'm not picking it up anymore. Must have been the weather conditions.

Default 453.8125 Today

Monitored for awhile today.
The PD was using 453.8125 P25 today. heard no activity on 460.325.
Also heard TN Fire pages (Analog) on this freq.
Sounded narrow banded (Narrow Audio). Signal strength was 50%
where the PD is 100% quieting at my house.
It's 7PM and still hear TN Fire Pages on this freq.
I only hear the fire pages, no other activity...

Are you hearing ALL TN pages or just pages for Vernon FD/EMS? If its only Vernon they they are probably multicasting so that the PD can hear the calls that the other agencies are responding to. The PD might even be first responders... not sure how they work up there.

I'm hearing ALL TN pages not just Vernon.
It sounds like someone is rebroadcasting it.
