Ok, I'll bite....

What would having a public feed monitoring a public open non-super squirrel secret readily able to be monitored system(s) be such a problem?

I guess I don't see the logic in it.

Its all good that you want to be able to listen for your enjoyment, though I am a little fuzzy on what kind of problem you would expect to encounter to state for "must remain a closed feed" kinda thing.

I use ProScan and feed from a much higher remote site about 7 miles away. This allows me to control and record my remote 996XT. I will be adding a second one from about 20 miles away that has much better coverage.
I would not share my stream of one of my remote feeds to anyone beyone one or two people and certainly not make them public feeds here. There are too many restrictions on what is allowed on a feed at this site. I do searches, change banks, sit on certain channels, etc. I may hit any of the list of traffic that is not allowed.
Of course now that the RR.com is not going to have the feeds, you will save the $7 per month Broadcastify fee if you do have a feed (although you soon will have to pay for RR.com even with a feed).
