Just an FYI for all those monitoring SBFD in case you don't know already. When they go off site for Mutual aid, you'll hear the units signing on with "N" for Navy instead of the old "C' designator for New London county and the number 6 for the starting number to keep in line with the Navy numbering system. I'm assuming "6" is the Sub Base site number for the Navy.

So the units should be like this if I remember correctly (New / Old County designator)
N-61 = C-11 (Engine out of Station 1 on base)
N-62 = C-21 (Engine out of Station 2 off-base)
N-63 = C-12 (spare engine)

I forget how the Hazmat and the Tower ar number but I sort of remembering from another post They were Tower 6 and Hazmat 6. I could be mistaking and I will check for the correct information. The ambulances I'm not sure of they used to be C-100, C-101. Not sure how they are numbered now.
