A call to them would probably get you the answer. You could also ask them to match the price to the Radio Shack sale price at the same time.
I would expect that ScannerMaster is one of the higher volume dealers for Uniden. If someone has a sale and SM matches it, they might go out of stock on a particular item.

i called scanner master and asked about the 996xt when they will get another shipment-they said by the end of the month (feburary) so if anyone is interested in buying one next week i would think they will get them in
