Default propagation?

Hey guys, just a quick question about reception. I know now from a listener in West Haven that NHPD 460.500 is working but I have lost it totally! I'm fine with 460.450 as well as Orange, East Haven, West Haven and Yale. I'm in Trumbull. Would this be due to propagation? This all changed after the storm which is why I first thought NH might have had a problem with the transmitter site. Just curious.
thanks for your input.

Is the NHPD running its normal power output into their standard antenna? Or is there a temporary lower profile antenna and/or lower power secondary transmitter? Your friend may be close enough as to not notice a change of signal levels. HTH.

Good question. I wonder if anyone else as far away as I am is having the same problem?

If I remember right, both 460.450 and 460.500 are up on West Rock. It could be with the crazy wind that the antenna moved and is angled down instead of being vertically straight up and down. That may be why you are not hearing them as well.

Why did they move back to K of C building after spending all that money to move to east rock?

One of the patrol channels has always been on the knights. It's because East rock coverage is blocked by west rock for coverage in upper westville near the woodbridge line. K of C has a clearer shot up there.
