They moved to VHF 3 years ago. 159.2175 NAC 081

Just put them in, They sound very clear in naugatuck. They must have selectable encryption, the dispatcher was clear the whole time but the car was encrypted.

Rumor has it from a guy I know that works Middlebury public works is the fire department made the police drop the encryption so they could listen, he also said they are shutting down the dispatch center at the PD and having someone else do it, I guess it was in the paper.

Success !! I am driving up 68 from Naug. and hear something and notice no flashing LED, its Middlebury ! That may be one and only time but it definitely worked and Naug has been great too.
