453.175 PL 167.9 is listed as NHVN. CTY. Interop. in the RR database.
This morning I heard NHVN. fire dispatching a call. But thats it, the engines were heard clearly on the NHVN freq. but nothing on the interop freq. So what is the point in just hearing a fire dispatch being broadcast and nothing else? Second, who else uses this channel this way?

Likely someone hit the wrong button on the console and was simulcasting at Dispatch [Mistakes Happen]

Either what Bill said or I know sometimes they use the inter op for training at the fire school. More than likely they had the wrong module selected on the console in dispatch.
