So Who Went?

I had a tail gate spot. Made some good change. Something I found interesting was that the pickings were better outside than inside! Even the commercial dealers did not have as much merchandise as they used to have in years past. One pass indoors was all it took for me! Tail gating was definitely the better choice this year!

Yeah, and from where you live, it would not have been worth the drive!
Hamfests are not what they used to be! Too many people asking way
too much for old and outdated equipment! Then, commercial sellers
asking too much for new gear sold cheaper online!

Ya missed me too Izzy-lol and PS - I passed. Plus I applied and got my GMRS as well. Now I'm deciding on what to do as far as any new gear and a possible repeater. I have a friend who lives on a hilltop offered to let me put a machine up there.

DMR is a blast. I've been active with my nifty CS700 for a few weeks now, even though I've never been a big repeater user in the past. Kudos to the Connecticut guys making this network what it is fast becoming.
Catch you on the SNE TG!
