Anne Arundel Co., Md - Project 25 Freqs

Data page says Anne Arundel using Motorola "Smart Zone." The county is shifting to a digital system and, judging by some chatter on the Smart Zone sys, some units are already there. The PD dispatcher was recently heard instructing a PD unit to switch to digital. Does anyone have the digital freqs for Anne Arundel County, MD or does anyone know where I can obtain these frequencies?

I believe the existing system (Scanner Frequencies: Anne Arundel County Trunking System, Annapolis, Maryland) has just been updated so that some of the channels are analog and some digital. Check out the "mode" column in the channels section. All channels marked with a "D" are digital; "A" is analog.; "E" is encrypted.

You are absolutely right! I'm sorry that I didn't notice the "Mode" column. I was looking for a new set of frequencies. Additionally, I wasn't aware that an organization (e.g., Anne Arundel County) could use both analog and digital on the same trunked system. Many thanks for your assistance. WAH/Severn, MD
