Default PDF file of FCC licenses omits frequencies?

I've noticed that quite a number of frequencies wind up being omitted from the PDF files of all FCC Licenses in a given county. Any reason for these omissions?

Let me give a specific example for comparison, starting with the actual FCC license itself:

ULS License - Public Safety Pool, Conventional License - KED435 - MOLESTON FIRE DISTRICT

The "FCC Callsign: KED435 (MOLESTON FIRE DISTRICT)" page correctly shows all licensed frequencies:

FCC Callsign KED435 Details

However, the PDF report is omitting everything except the first six entries. Those entries, coincidentally, have LAT/LONG and COUNTY information entered next to them, whereas the ones omitted from the PDF report, have those fields blank.

RadioReference.com - Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Also take note of this page here, which breaks the licenses further down into separate entries for each frequency, location, station class and power output...resulting in many more individual entries than might be expected, although they are technically accurate:

FCC Licenses and Scanner Frequencies for Rockland County, New York (NY)

So I guess the question is, what is the source for the PDF FCC report query? Why would the FCC callsign detail page display them correctly, but the PDF report omits them?

Any insight, Lindsay?

You might want to rerun the report. I got 24 pages with a frequency on every line.

I ran the report numerous times, each time it omitted the same frequencies. Did you compare the Moleston Fire District entries? I'm not sure you're looking at the same thing I'm talking about.

Results from FCC license detail page:

See the problem now? It's clear as day to me. The PDF report completely omitted 46.30, 46.32, 46.36, 460.5125, 465.5125 and 465.5375, even though they are all valid frequencies licensed under the same call sign.

I would politely and respectfully ask that unless you are in the position to have the definitive answer to this issue (Lindsay), you refrain from posting and taking the thread off track as happens all too often around here. Thanks.

I received.

The problem is the handling of mobile only frequencies which the FCC doesn't attach location info to... I believe I fixed this issue in the online interface but not the PDFs.

I'll add this as a bug to investigate.

Thanks,

Thanks Lindsay for the quick reply!

Yes, I believe that's the issue. In fact, a look at some other entities in that county pretty much confirms that. In this example, the FCC database shows the county name attached to the mobile frequencies, and thus they appear in the PDF report as expected.

FCC detail page:

Code:

2 156.19500000 20K0F3E MO 70 0 100.000 ROCKLAND NY
2 159.27000000 20K0F3E MO 90 0 45.000 ROCKLAND NY
3 156.19500000 20K0F3E FB2 1 0 50.000 41.10633 -73.93967 VALLEY COTTAGE ROCKLAND NY

...and now it's no longer on the list.

Fixed!
