Default GRE radio id.

Hi ,all has anyone noticed that they dont match the units they are assigned to? Like 32-f dsp in sussex dont have 32 no where in there i.d. Seems strange to me ....but I guess thats the way they set it up? Thanks Mike

Default Gre

Mike,are you talking about the id the shows up on the screen like dsp 2448,my gre shows the right id's.

A RadioID is like a serial number for the radio on the system. It is not necessarily going to match the callsign, anymore than your cars VIN number will be its license plate number.
