Default Newbie In Delaware Requests Help

Hello everyone. I recently purchased the PRO 197 model from Radio Shack, along with the USB cable for loading the WIN 500 driver, etc. Don't know what happened but the loading process caused my HP desktop to crash, and its now back at HP for a repair cost of $400.00! Quiet frankly I really don't understand how the WIN 500 program works, albeit I do understahd the Scannable object/talk group concept.

Is there anyone out there in the Dagsboro Delaware area I could connect one-on-one with and assist me in loading the driver, and understanding how the basic concepts of WIN 500 work. Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

THANKS!
Mark

Mark, I'm not in Dagsboro, however the folks on the Utah scanning wiki has written what looks like a pretty good intro into how to use Win500 with the web service, which I see you can now get to since you are a paid contributor. Here's the link...

I've got a Sussex p500 file for the DE TRS that I use when we are in Rehoboth Beach. If you would like a copy let me know.
