Default Dover Fire

I was up in Kent County today Dover Fd dispatched an alarm,never an address are they MDT dispatched with the address?

Most of the time they will give a map book location. At other times they will contact the OIC on Dover ch.
I do believe they have MDT but it doesnt seem to be used much as I can learn.

Dover Fire will dispatch "Dover Transmitting an Alarm" on the main talk group. The address of the call will be posted on a "white board" and placed outside the window between dispatch and the engine bay. All other information pertaining to the call will be carried on the company channel. The chief on duty will also call for location of incident on this channel.

Default dover fire

DFD has never given an address, or a nature. This is to ensure max response. they use their own map books to advise responsing units of the location
