Default Sussex TRS in Cape May County

Someone asked about listening to the Sussex County TRS In Cape May?
Anyway, it's L/C in the North Cape May area. I'm not sure if the signals are coming from one of the antennas at the ferry terminal or the DRBA run Cape May County Airport. (approx 4 miles apart) I didn't get a chance to get on the airport grounds to check for antennas but will do so next trip over.

Ok,
thanks for having a listen. FCC data shows it at the airport. Just wondering if it is actually turned on.

I believe that DRBA uses the DE trunk system for both security and port operations (literally) from the ferry to their palatial hq at the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Their biggest problem seems to be finding places to hide all of the money generated by the ever-escalating tolls and judging from their investments in some incredibly ridulous ventures.

Another one of a number of semi-state/federal operations badly in need of some adult supervision. It's not a partisan issue, just another carefully created form of patronage regardless of who is "running" the show in Dover or Trenton.

Default De 800mhz in Cape May

Hey guys, I live about 5 blocks from the ferry and my FD is in the airport complex. The terminal building by the run ways does have a 800mhz yagi antenna but is only approx. 15ft. up. I know that I get Sussex system with 4-5 bars from my house but I am using a discone about 30ft. I know the ferry is on the system, havent heard much from the DRBA at the airport. Hope this helps a little.

If you have a chance to do a drive by could you see if a CC is being transmitted from there so I can add it to the DB?

Regards,
Dave
