Default New Encryption

I suspect that in the next few days many will notice just how many TG's have gone ENC with the radio reprogramming to support re-banding. (why not tweak the present setting)

The opportunity was used by many self dispatched city's and twp's statewide to be unmonitorable.

DSP/NCCPD also went full ENC on data and TAC channels.

We are basically down to DSP/Some city dispatch and Mutual aids on the LE side.

Not a mention except from Sussex.

Maybe everyone just uses Unidens that jump over enc and have not noticed.

Be safe everyone.

The word is, there will also be encryption on some sussex EMS talk groups, PMO1, PMO2 and EMPRS. Don't know how true this is.

More Updates today for NCCPD TG re-assignments. Most of the mounted patrol, community services, crossing guard channels which were never used for these purposes are now encrypted with NCCPD ops.

The old CIU A,B,C have been silent for over a year...guess where they are now.

Yes, All the fed TG's are strapped encrypted and are in use more than most people realize....unless you scan them or look @ Unitrunker type logs.
