Default Sigmira

OK, I've downloaded Sigmira and installed per instructions.
I've used two different sound cards; Soundblaster 24 Live and an external Rolland UA-1EX.
I've purchased all new cabling. I've tried every possible software and sound card setting and I absolutely cannot get a signal to sync or get the FEC quality graph to move.

I am running XP with a 3g Pentium5 with 512 memory and it absolutely won't get out of it's own way.

The only thing it will do is decode the supplied .wav samples. I tried making some wav recordings, but no joy their either. I've emailed Steve Harlow several times and never got a reply.

The only thing I wanted the program for is to decode some Stanag 4285 signals.
Has anyone else had problems, or am I the village idiot?

Thanks,
Randy

Default Sigmira

I just started using Sigmira a couple of weeks ago. It takes a little playing around with it to get it to sync, try and center it as close as possible then using the phase plane move it a hertz or two at a time in one direction then the other. Keep an eye on the phase plane when your getting close to the center the lines will start bunching up at the phase angles. Below is a list of freqs I have found so far.

You say it takes some playing around with. In what way?
What percentage is your input audio set to?
Line in or mic in on sound card?
What sampling rate?
What type of patch cable, stereo or mono?
Where is the audio taken from, headphone jack, line out, speaker jack.
What bd and interleaving works best.
Are you using any filtering?

Have I left anything out?

Those who have used Sigmira with success, are you using audio from another receiver fed to your sound card, or are you using one of the RFSpace receivers?
