Default Morse Code?

Is there a frequency that broadcast continuous morse code that I can listen to and try to read. If not, what would be some good frequencies to monitor to receive CW? I have an old Radio Shack DX-440 that receives. The radio receives LW and 11-120 Meters?

ARRLWeb: W1AW, the Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Station
It is as close to a continuous broadcast of morse you are going to find. Also you might want to check out the lower end of 80m,40m,and 20m ham bands. 3.5 mHz 7 mhz 14 mhz

Sangean ATS-803A/Radio Shack DX-440 Review - RadioIntel.com Its got a BFO so you should be able to pick up some cw.

You might want to try 8096Mhz USB. Cuban sending 5 letter groups. I use my SkySweeper to break it out. Good Luck

Does your shortwave radio have a CW setting or a BFO? If not, you will have difficulty receiving CW signals. Most SW radios are AM only. Good luck. Let us know what you find.

I heard that 8096khz in AM modulated CW. In other words like they held their keyer up to the microphone. No BFO or SSB needed. It was 5 letter groups and I heard them strongly in my mobile.

If you just want to practice CW, do a search for MorseCat. It's a free program you can download to your computer. You can adjust speed, type of words (clear text, 5 char. groups, all letters, mixed letters/numbers, etc., etc.)
