Default ID-5100 D-STAR - Someone save me some time

A couple of simple questions. I'm sure I can find this eventually but I'd like to make a decision today. I'm looking at getting an ID-5100. Some quick questions?

1) Does the ID-5100 handle normal 2m/70cm FM communications (i.e. non-DSTAR)?

2) Can the ID-5100 be made to do APRS without a ton of work, using non DSTAR? I know it's not specifically built in.

3) I have a mobile cell hotspot. Is there any way to link the radio to a computer connected to the hotspot, to get APRS data to APRS? Link that shows how?

It will do analog FM just fine. I don't have that model but the IC-7100 and ID-51 handle non-dstar, no reason to believe the 5100 is any different.

Don't know about the other two questions...

The road goes on forever and the party never ends...
