WS-1080 with DSD Plus question

Has anyone used the 1080 IF output (discriminator) with programs like DSD+, and if so, what is your experience with this. Have the 1080 (now really starting to like it) but have not explored the IF output feature yet. Any comments will be appreciated.

Got DSD Plus up and running with WS-1080 IF headphone output. Works great on P25 here in Los Angeles for LAPD and LA ICIS. Later will try NXDN railroad stations in area, including Gold, Blue, and Red line. With FCDP+ and SDR Sharp using unfiltered audio and VAC, P25 decode was choppy. With WS-1080 IF, really great decode with very low settings on line in and audio level.
