I have a friend who is running DSD+ on his laptop. He's using Windows 7 Home Premium with a 64 bit type system. We have DSD+ up and running, we hear all of the decoded speech, but we're hearing the raw data and open squelch static from the tapped scanner (Radio Shack Pro 404) associated with the digital audio stream through the speakers on the laptop. The cable and tap are ok, since it works on my laptop with no issues. What setting should I tell him to investigate/check?
Update: We found the solution to the problem. The external speakers were not plugged in to the laptop as they normally are.
