Found a DMR channel going crazy (city transportation dept) and DSD+ just just showing data. Booted up DMR Decoder and it shows Data calls instead of Voice calls. DSD+ picks up the occasional voice call as does DMR decoder but most of the activity is Data. Is that privacy enabled stuff or dispatch data?

It could be messaging or most likely (since it is the transportation dept) GPS location data.

If it's a more or less constant data stream on a non trunking system, I'd agree with BB. Many transit systems send location data from the mobiles. The system probably also queries the mobiles periodically. It's also possible that if there is a "trouble" button on the mobiles, that would be sent on the data stream.
