Can someone tell me what the new STEP callsigns I'm hearing represent? I'm sure I'm hearing STEP 1, STEP 2 etc, but unfortunately I've not heard enough of a call (other than a traffic stop) to determine what types of calls they engage in.

Thanks

Calgary uses that to mean Selective Traffic Enforcement Program. In English, "Police are targeting ___ today" where ___ = seat belts, commercial vehicles, ricers, drunk drivers, speeders, etc.

Well the 2 times I heard this callsign both involved traffic stops, so you could have something here. Thanks!
