I've not heard Hydro lately using old frequencies. I'm close to Fenlon Falls and their old frequency was 49.110.
Like some input pls.

They may have abandoned Low Band and are communicating via cell phone. :(

Hydro One is still using the old frequencies in the Muskoka area. But are also using cell phones as well. There vehicles in this area also have a VHF type antenna on them now.

Hydro One Lowband freqs...

I have heard them on 49.210 in the Bowmanville area periodically in the last year or so, like after a severe storm and such.

What freqs were you hearing them on in the Caledon Bolton area?

Decided to turn them back on to check my area, and I'm hearing normal activity today, with a little extra tonight due to a storm in my area...

Thanx all for your input!

No sooner did I ask a question and I hear a brief communication on the low band close to Lindsay, 49.1100. Seems its still active.
