Why don't you just try it?

The answer is really simple though.

Number of Fleetnet talkgroups in Zone 1 - Number of available channels on an Astro Saber III.

If the answer is positive, they won't all fit.

If the answer is negative, they will fit.

Duh....255 channels on the Astro III...my bad...i wasn't thinking. Looks like i can get all OPP and MNR on there though!

One question however is how does the radio treat the radio towers...as there are 40 towers in Zone 1, does each take up "channel" space on the radio?

I'm going to lock this thread before it disintegrates.

Pyr8, what you are trying to do is highly risky and illegal.

The type of questions you are asking shows a basic lack of knowledge on how to program a radio properly.

A radio like that in the hands of somehow without basic knowledge can be extremely dangerous to the users of the public safety system you want to put it on.

I suggest you look elsewhere for the information you need.
