Default BCD996XT and GPS RECEIVER.

Hello.
I use my BCD996XT as a base scanner all the time...Is/Are there any applications that can be done if I connected a GPS receiver to the scanner?

Seems pretty pointless to connect a GPS to a base scanner, unless your base moves around a lot.

Not sure what "applications" you had in mind.

Then the GPS wont do much for you other then tell your location
There really isnt any 3rd party programs to do much else for you (with the GPS).

Other programs can help for logging talkgroup ID's etc (ID tracker)
