458.7000 173.8 or 412 (Security)
451.6625 412 (Volunteers, porters)

I have no idea what the 600mHz frequencies listed in the TAFL are, in NFM and WFM it's a silent carrier.

I'd bet that the 458.7000 is the input to a repeater on 453.7000. TAFL seems to think so as well.

What's the story with 173.8 or 412? It can only be one or the other.

Probably - I was right beside the vehicle that was transmitting.

I don't know if it's the PL or DPL... I got them both on different occasions at Sunnybrook, but I 'd assume it's 412 based on the DPL of the security radios.

I'd like to take credit for all that, but alas, I am in no way affilliated with the TAFL search. I got the nickname when I worked for tvontario in a previous life.

608-614MHz is used for medical telemetry...expect it is non-voice and
very low power.

You can hear the 600mHz stuff very clearly even sitting outside the main building in a car, no static whatsoever.

I guess there's low power and very low power, must depend on the
application. The transmitter power is not shown because only (in this
case) receive is licensed. I presume this is probably TX licence-exempt
as long as it meets type-acceptance for the band/application, and RX
licensing protects receiving equipment against interference.

I guess it should be Tx-exempt if it was low-power enough, since this is in the TV band for UHF off-air, and wireless mics don't require licenses, although they only reach 1000-ish feet max, and that's line-of-sight. The most expensive and powerful wirelesses are 250mW, most are 25, pro-gear is 50-100mW.
