Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all.

I might be heading up north to our cottage near Dyers bay this weekend.

This is a heavily forested area. I wonder now with the leaves down on the hardwood trees would this improve reception any? I find once you go into the woods here the signal has trouble penetrating i.e. Dyers Bay is hard to get less than 10 Km's away.

If so I might mess around and enbter in Fleetnet Zone 3 on here, esp if we take a trip up to Tobemory.
Which tower covers Manitoulin? All I see that I recognize is Killarney.

As we know down in Zone 1 there are multiple patches ofr the OPP MTO etc.
From what I see t/g 8592 (3 OPS24) & possibly 8288 (3OPS5) might be appropriate?

TIA
E

Thank You for that Mike, now to decide whether or not to bother putting them in...; all I have is a Diamond Portable antenna.
