Tweed also has a beat repeater. I drove through there yesterday on my way home to belleville, just as curiosity, had it on the beat repeater to see its radius which is quite impressive. 413.5375 mhz. It will pick up the OPP talkgroup for central hastings, and quinte west. for your type of scanner which cannot trunk digital frequencies, you would need to get one that will to listen to Provincial Fleetnet, which covers, mto, moh, opp. Allthough the odd time when BMR decides to do maintenance on a specific fleetnet tower. I here the ambulance dispatch in Kingston tell the amb to switch to PCOMM which is 150.100 until the fleetnet tower that services that area for the ambulance is up and running again. So keep that frequency handy in some cases there is activity on it. The same with 142.770 which is the Pcomm channel for OPP/and city police. I have been hearing a lot of testing on that frequency from different towns and cities across the province lately, from techs and opp dispatchers and city police. Interesting? Perhaps routine?

Tweed area EMS would be on Fleetnet Trunked, therefore needing an analog trunking scanner, frequencies and towers can be found here http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=2560

As far as conventional stuff, you can hear the VR's from here http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&aid=575

OPP are digital on the same trunked system, therefore needing a digital scanner, however as stated, Tweed has a Beat Repeater, so you'll hear OPP County wide on that.

Other conventional stuff for OPP can be found here http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&aid=577

The rest of Hastings County stuff can be found here http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=4297
