Just wondering about OFD Simplex channels... do they have them? Do they use them? Does anyone know what they are/ can they be put on the database?

They do use them, I just don't know what they are.

This 2 Alarm blaze http://cfra.com/headlines/index.asp?cat=1&nid=47682 that they were fighting early this morning, they had to refer to the simplex 1 channel for on scene communications because of problems with the EDACS radio system.

Looking at the specs for the Jaguar Portables Ottawa uses, the frequency will between 851mhz and 870mhz. Based on what other simplex 800mhz freqs seam to be for Ontario trunked users I would suggest 866-868.9mhz. Try; 866.2500,868.2500, 868.3500,868.4500, and 868.6000mhz they seam to be common simplex in Ontario. I will see what I can dig up as well but these are very low power portables.
