Default Peel Regional EMS flying new colours

On my way thru the murk that is traffic on the 403 today I came across a Ambulance that was sporting a different colour scheme than the usual redish orange white that defines EMS units in Peel & Halton/
There was blues, yellows, they looked vibrant!

Anyone in the know in Peel, are you guys getting a across the board change in appearance?

The unit was 3042 and it said Peel Regional, not Peel Region.

That sounds like the colour scheme that they are using in York Region. I beleive it is a povincial standard design that is being rolled out as vehicles are replaced.

I live near Sunnybrook and see ambulances from all over the place and have begun seeing more with this design.

It wasnt as colourful as York Regions but more colourful than Toronto.
I havent seen a change of Haltons or Hamiltons yet. Grey/Bruce still sported the same colour scheme.

Thames EMS in London is still the typical white and orange, however I see the Lambton County units are blue and white now... pretty sharp too.

Peel Regional Paramedics are rolling out their new colour scheme with 5 new units (3039 to 3043) and numerous replacement units. The old provincial colour scheme of an orange stripe on a white background should be gone from Peel within the next 3 years.
