Anyone know the Coast Guard UHF freq's, be good to have before summer. Would have liked to have heard the comms when their helicopter went into the drink north of the Blue Water bridge about three weeks ago.

Wasn't that a US CG Helo ?? [or am I confussing incidents]

Typically the USCG Helo will contact the Sector and have them take Guard, to monitor their progress. Usually this occurs on VHF Marine [altho now moving to the VHF LMR - See the Wiki under Coast Guard] or HF.

The Typically posted UHF Channels are used in the AM mode, for Air-Air among the Helo's and Fixed Wing A/C

Yes, it was USCG.
