SSD's files and a Fleetnet question

Does any one use the software that comes with the 296?

I have a few 'ssd' files that work. Does anyone have any ssd's for areas outside of Southern Ontario? I would love to have Zone 2 Eastern Ontario and Myabe for other cities such as Windsor, London, Quebec, ?

Also I set up my 296 to scan most of the towers in Zone 1. For instance I have one bak reserved for areas along Hwy 10 and 6 up the Bruce. Is it wrong to have towers like Owen Sound, Wiarton, Durham on the same bank.

Is it wrong to have towers such as Miss, T.O. King City and lets say Oshawa in the same bank.

Should I for example:

Put the frequs for T.O. then Windsor, two far away from each other towers next to each other or have Toronto and King City and Miss running in consecutive order?

Any and all help and replies are greatly appreciated. I have a few good files for anyone who needs them.

Can I use mem files with anything but the butune (sp?) software?

I have all my opp frequencies in the same bank which is bank 6. Then i have all my firedepartment and local stuff in another bank which is 1, because it is edacs system and sarnia in bank 2, and so on. I figure as you move from different areas you will pick up different control channels so i guess it dont matter. but im just new at this.
