Unidentified talkgroups on BMR Fleetnet Zone 1 (Southwest)
Before posting your unidentified talkgroups, please check the database to make sure they haven't been already identified:
http://www.radioreference.com/module...=TRSDB&sid=861
Use this thread to post and discuss talkgroups that are yet to be identified.
Do not use this thread to discuss how the system works or how to program your scanner for it. Start a separate thread for those topics.
In order to keep the thread from becoming unwieldy, I will delete any posts not fitting the topic.

Looks like a grouping of Correctional Services talkgroups. You have found a gold mine
I clicked the link above in the first post and noticed that 39632 has been ID' d as Windsor Jail.
Does that jibe with your data ?

I have these talkgroups in my Trunker files as well, along with:
39696
39904
40000
Most of the radio's that have affiliated with these groups have been in most of these groups. Also, a bunch of them have been seen on the (32768) PCSAF1 talkgroup. Also, interestingly enough, there is one radio (30765d/782dh) that has been in these mystery groups along with:
35328 - EMS London West
35360 - EMS London Tac 1
38368 - MTO Lucan
8336 - OPP 1OPS09 Middlesex
That's an interesting group of talkgroups to have in a radio! I also find it odd that the radio ID is 782D (same as the Zone 1 SysID).... Hmmm... Coincidence??

I've heard 39584 off of various towers in the Simcoe County/York County area. Haven't caught enough chatter to confirm a user but they've got to be Correctional Services.

Morning all...
I've got an unconfirmed talkgroup, 39584, on Hamilton. I've got a few hits and have heard traffic in analog on this talkgroup on occaision...I believe it is corrections talkgroup for the Barton Jail (or Hamilton Wentworth Correctional Centre, I think) in the Hambone. I also submitted it to the DB.
I've also got a list of talkgroups from my 782dgrp.txt file. I haven't ever heard a peep from any of these...none of them have hits associated with them so it seems like a radio just affiliated with most of these. All were monitored on the Hamilton site.

39584
The other day I heard 3 units chatting back and forth on 39584. They all seemed to be doing prisoner transports. We had one unit near Windsor and another near Kitchener all talking about the weather.
The only callsign I have heard is escort2

There is a correctional centre in Thorold (right along 58 hwy near Allanburg) that would likely either use the Niagara Falls site or Welland...is there a jail in Fort Erie, as well? And I'm not talking about a city jail, here...

Hi Jellotor, there is no Jail in Fort Erie I kind of thought it was the correctional centre/holding centre in Thorold too but was not sure about it. when I was able to listen to the NRP before they encrypted there radio system they had to call in and asked to have the gate opened when brining in a prisoner. I'll keep listening.

Ok...Maplehurst is the jail along the 401 at Hwy 25 in Milton. Strange that those radios would use the Guelph tower rather than Ballinafad. My limited monitoring of the Barton jail tg didn't reveal any prisoner transfer information (ie. no unit numbers heading to other jails) and since the OPP handle those duties anyway (I believe) it seems to me that it's a good bet that 39728 is for Maplehurst.
Mike...feel free to step in at any time to correct me if you know better.

I heard a mobile user heading to Stratford and then back to Maplehurst and his signal was terrible on the system coming through Kitchener to the point where he had to call in. The female he was talking was on a base radio with a desk mic and she was loud and clear. Not sure why the affiliation with the Guelph tower unless there was a user at the Guelph Detention Centre or the female dispatcher was in Guelph? The noisey mobile user was at Hwy 7&8 near Trussler and was either using a portable or just didn't shut up long enough to affiliate with the stronger tower as he headed west since Cedarwoods would drop off quickly to the west due to the Manheim and Baden hills.

Yeah, that's an odd one. I was under the impression that only Guelph municipal users used the Guelph tower. EMS doesn't even affiliate on that tower, do they? I always listen to Cedarwoods when I'm through Guelph anyway.

Trunker logged a GID of 7856 last night on site 7 (Hamilton)...only one hit on that GID. Anyone have any idea what agency may be using the 7000 range? I get a solid 99% decode rate on that site so I trust--for the most part--what trunker is telling me to be true.
