Today the dow went up 300 points and then went down a little after that because of CAT and GM earnings. And if anybody asks what CAT and GM is look it up.

Now go look at the 100 year chart:

Dow Jones - 100 Year Historical Chart | MacroTrends

Where did the current upward trend really start?

Try about 2010. God, you trumptards are dimwits.

And do you know what the cause of that uptrend is? It's not any Obama policy. It's - can you handle it? -

THE FEDERAL RESERVE PUMPING CASH INTO THE MARKETS, AKA "QUANTITATIVE EASING."

When you have a market that values TESLA - an automaker which survives on government largesse and has NEVER turned an annual profit, higher than GM or Ford - companies which make BILLIONS in profits AND pay dividends every quarter, you know things are screwed up. There are plenty of other examples, too. And it is ALL thanks to the FED's quantitative easing and cheap-money policies.

Furthermore, the FED, Congress, the Bush administration, and the Obama administration refused, for political reasons and with their bailouts, to allow the so-called "Great Recession" to burn out the economic deadwood. That refusal to allow the deadwood to be burned out, along with the FED's debasement of the US dollar, has set us up for a colossal economic collapse in the future.

If anyone thinks that the current uptrend is the result of an Obama policy rather than FED intervention in the stock market, feel free to educate us on the economic mechanism Obama put into place that has resulted in the uptrend. We're waiting ...

That would preclude it from being any Trump policy either. Be sure to spread the word to his acolytes.

Question Stock Charts For No-Longer-Listed Stocks?

I used to have a website that maintained an archive of stocks that have been bought out, i.e., APCC [the old American Power Conversions Corp] and ISLN [Isilon Systems Inc], etc.

Anyone know of a site for defunct securities? Many thanks for taking the time to respond!
