Default Target: income down 62%

Target Corp. slashed its profit forecast for the year as the retailer struggles with the
aftershocks of a massive data breach and a botched expansion into Canada.

Its net income plunged nearly 62% to $234 million, or 37 cents a share.
That's compared with $611 million, or 95 cents a share, a year earlier.

Home Depot bucked the trend.

It doesn't help that they're anti-gun.

Or French. They were hurt with the charge card security fiasco over the holidays.

That they're anti-gun is the sole reason I'll go to Walmart first, and they compete in the same markets.

If you're going to make a political statement, at least do it in a way that angers the fewest amount of people, or even better, not at all.

It may not even be a political statement, just bone headedness. Either way, poor business model!

Good, that place is a dump and I hope they fold - Their push to ban Christmas and their support of other fringe but PC positions made me stop shopping there ever years ago.
As I recall, they are more geared towards teen girls and ladies than men anyhow, won't miss them a bit if they disappear tomorrow.

Now Sears, that would hurt !
