i have a memorex cd/radio/turntable that is less than five years old. when i turn the knob the display light comes on but nothing else works...i cant change the am/fm channel, open the cd player or play records. any suggestions?
help!

Sounds like it is in Protect Mode. Protect Mode is to prevent any further damage to the unit. You could try to unplug it then try to power it on while unplugged to discharge anything stored in memory then plug it back in and try it like you would normally. If that doesn't correct it. It will most likely be in need of a repair !
