Verizon VX8300 Uses

I have TWO old Verizon VX8300 sitting 'round and wondered what kind of uses they could serve. They are circa 2005 and hate to see them go to waste... Any ideas of what to do with them, any at all no matter how mundane, throw 'em on the table! Any use at all from usual to secret!

Do they still work on the VZ network? I did no think they would... :roll: Can they be used to decode MotoTRBO? I am looking to use them for other porpoises...
