What does your username mean?
Mine is obviously a combo of my last name and first initial, but we've got a lot interesting usernames. What does yours stand for? What is the genesis of your username?

User Name Meaning
I was teasing my daughter on day in the backyard when she said something like Your a goofy dad, just as a couple of friends came around the house. The next time we worked together they had changed the name on my locker to "Goofy Dad". I kept the Goofy part and added my birth year to get "GOOFY59"

Mine was from the StrongSignals.net site back in the day when it was the place to be and I used it there. I came up with it on a whim from the BC780 as it was my favorite scanner at the time (and still is).

You can easily figure out the "ScanMan" part of my name. The "QSL" is one of the Q-Codes used in Amateur radio communications. I am referring to a QSL card. QSL cards are a confirmation of a radio communication between amateur radio operators.

Mine stands for my home (fw = Fort Worth) and the radio part is pretty self-explanatory. I've been a radio geek since junior high in the '80's.

I never had any pets growing up, when I got married I told my wife I wanted a dog. So when I finally had to let my dog go after ten years, I wanted something to remember him by. Like a first love, Rocky was my first. So pawsrock is, paws( meaning what it sounds) rock(short for Rocky)
