We have a possible here:

It doesn't look like anything yet, but it could turn into a bunch of rants against ham-test online!

Just one to watch!

A troll thread struck down in the prime of its infancy. And I didn't even get to contribute my useless and unhelpful comments. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!

It just occurred to me that this actually has some potential. Maybe not strictly "Troll Food", but possibly a minor award for "buttheadedness".

This one does have potential, as UPMan has drawn the proverbial line in the sand; that no scanner can tune two frequencies at the same time. He also laid down his credentials.

Let's see what the OP's next move is!

Given his latest post,

http://forums.radioreference.com/uni...ml#post1985590

I'd say he doesn't get "ANY" part of it!

Don't you just love these people who tell UPMan how radios really work!!

And.... "And yes this can be done if Uniden took the time to research this thoroughly." A second receiver with a firmware upgrade???? Gotta love it!!

How could the rest of us have been sooooo stupid all this time!!

"I hear what you're saying and I understand all that and it makes perfect sense. I am just saying..."

Typically said by those who aren't hearing and don't understand and can't make any sense of it..

A fIrmware update to have a second(non-existent receiver) to seamlessly check priority???????? That's a good one. The guy just does not get it at all.

I already have that firmware upgrade. It's called a second radio.

The thread's certainly headed for lockdown, and fast. So please visit and see the parting shot I took at it.

In the world of Radio Control models, this is the perfect beginning of a sorely misguided person or an outright troll.

Totally OT but if you are looking for something different........

RCCanada - Canada's Radio Controlled Hobby Forum

Mesquite has been strangely quiet today, I hope he is not driving over to Paul's place uninvited!!!!!
